Dinafem mix seed pack #7 packs the following feminised cannabis seeds:

2 x Moby Dick #2
2 x Roadrunner #1
2 x Critical Jack

In 2005 we introduced Moby Dick cannabis seeds into the market and it immediately became a seed which produced passion among the cultivators that tried it; it was the first time a local feminised seed surprised users and convinced them first hand that Holland was not the only reference in seeds. It was a first class variety, vigorous, productive and very powerful, with much better genetics than many of those available. The years have passed and it has become the most well-known variety in our catalogue. For this reason, over the past few years some private cultivators have been demanding another Moby Dick. Although the majority aren’t able to say exactly what they would change in this variety, the general opinion was that the new one should be more productive. The strength and vigour of this plant were not among the most esteemed. Crossing a JYD Haze mother plant with another non-dominant and highly productive indica mother plant of the Northern Lights strain, we have managed to preserve its sativa character in flavour and strength but obtaining a higher productivity at the same time. In order to do so, we have used the most productive mother plant of a special selection, a very stable and productive non-dominant indica. Thus, we have produced a new improved version which maintains the same strength and flowering period in spite of increasing its productivity.

The increase in productivity is more noticeable in Mediterranean climates - as the sun is the principle factor which marks the difference- or in indoor cultivation, where the plants are always intensely fed and well-illuminated. In non-Mediterranean climates, an increase in productivity is also obtained, and in large developed plants the difference in weight per plant is often noticeable. As with its predecessor, if we want to take advantage of the full power of this variety, it will have to recieve all the fertilizer it needs, as well as abundant light – about 800w per m2 -, or it should be placed in a sunny area in summer. Equally important is to make sure it gets abundant feeding, particularly when receiving many hours of direct light, for example, 2.00 EC with a continuous supply of all the macro or microelements. Special care must be taken with levels of iron, magnesium and zinc. The ideal ph level for avoiding problems absorbing iron in Hydroponic cultivation is 5.5, increasing to ph 6.0 if cultivating in soil. Harvesting is similar to its sister-plant, between the 10 – 25 October. It is moderately resistant to fungus caused by excess moisture in autumn. As it has a very powerful effect, this variety is not recommended for non-experimented consumers.

Dinafem Roadrunner Automatic is the result of a cross between an automatic variety and our premier mother Dinafem #1, a good number of generations to stabilise and we discovered this surprising variety. This plant is capable of producing enormous colas in only sixty days and is still suitable for cultivation on a terrace, balcony or garden, it also very good for guerilla growing. Roadrunner Automatic can be seeded on the 15th of May and harvested on the 30th of July leaving August for holidays and still have a bumper harvest.

These plants need 20 hours of light a day to grow at optimal speed. Roadrunner Automatic grow outdoors profusely during the longer days so it is important to give them alot of substrate from the start so as not to impede growth. 4 litres of substrate is the minimum and 20 the maximum; it is also advised to germinate in jiffy’s and plant into the final container immediately.

This strain grows even larger in hydroponics and coca systems but takes little longer to finish because of the extra density and mass of buds.

Dinafem Critical Jack cannabis seeds has become the most well-known and intensely cultivated variety of cannabis in Spain over the past two years. The cultivating revolution caused by the arrival of Skunk to the US, and later to the Netherlands, finally reached Spain 20 years later, but under another name: Critical. The reason is that the Skunk#1 genetics are dominant in this strain, which is also composed of an Indica variety of Afghani origin, a highly productive strain developed on the west coast of US, and which received the name of Big Bud.  Mr Nice Seed Bank commerced with this hybrid, naming it Critical Mass. We could say that they became the “godfathers” of the most popular genetics in the whole country. Thank you, Shantibaba, Neville and Mr. Nice!  You’ve done an incredible job! We owe you a few words of recognition because thanks to your hard work (and that of a few others), we have been able to create a truly popular seed. And now, we are going to try again, this time crossing our Critical+ with the most productive sativa in our catalogue of mother plants – the only one capable of flowering in 70 days, producing up to 21% THC, and yielding a dry weight similar to indica or hybrid varieties. The results are obviously convincing: 60 days of flowering are enough for a harvest of plants that have a really rapid growth.

Their aspect is shabby like the sativa, with ample knots and very large light green leaves that hang limply. An explosion of flowers are produced, totally covered with large crystals of resin, in a much shorter period than one would expect with a sativa. Who do we have to thank? The most established seed bank in the world, Sensi Seeds. Our thanks to you, too, for this marvellous plant which is simply impressive. The crossbreed we have produced with these two elite varieties does not have the effect of a pure sativa, but it does have a fairly strong effect, the effect of the Critical+, fairly well-balanced; the modification increases its psychoactive side. It has an intense fruity flavour, but in some samples this varied to a lemony taste of wood. Very productive, even more than Critical+, an authentic flower producing machine, flowers which are very regular in size and homogenously placed on the branches –an heirloom received from its Critical+ side -. There is a clear increase in strength, in exchange for a few more days till flowering, so what more could we ask for? Well yes, there is something else. A noticeable increase in resistance against damp and fungus. Nevertheless, if the weather is too wet or climate conditions unfavourable, outdoor plants can be harvested at the end of September. The result is guaranteed to surprise.
